There are so many reasons why we should eat blueberries. They’re not only good, but provide us with so many nutritional values. Those little blue babies punch a big ole powerhouse of nutrients. Vitamin C, K, maganese, and fiber. 


Blueberries are packed with antioxidants that help to protect our bodies from free radicals. Heart health, anti-inflammatory properties, brain health, digestive health, weight management, eye health, and have been linked to reducing stress. I say keep a bag of those around!! 

 

Blueberries are versatile and tasty. Eat them alone as a tasty treat or use them in smoothies, yogurt, oatmeal, baked goods and even a safe treat for your dogs.

Strawberries are not only a delicious fruit they are packed with many healthy benefits. These big juicy babies are a great source of vitamin C, manganese, folate, and potassium.

 

Strawberries are great for you skin as well as being very beneficial to our health. Anti-inflammatory properties, heart health, blood sugar regulation because of its low glycemic index. Low in calories so great for weight management when you want a snack and great for your digestive health.

 

Strawberries can be enjoyed in so many dishes like banana nice cream, vegan chocolate covered strawberries, in smoothies, in buddha bowls, or eat them alone.

 

Healthy Vegan Yogurt Berry Breakfast

A delicious fast way to start your day with this coconut yogurt berry treat for breakfast.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup vegan yogurt I used cocojune brand
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 tbsp hemp hearts

Instructions
 

  • scoop yogurt in bowl or desired dish. I use a wine glass because I don't drink but what to feel fancy sometimes. LOL
    Wash your strawberries and blueberries. slice or chop your strawberries. I keep the leaves on they are definitely okay to eat but trim if you don't want them. Add to dish
    top off with hemp seed or any other protein like seeds or nuts.
